Anna Ayala, who famously slipped a severed human finger into her cup of chili at Wendy's, tried to patch things up in court yesterday by offering an apology--and an endorsement!:
"I am truly sorry. I owe Wendy's and its employees an apology," a sobbing Ayala told the court. "Wendy's had always been my family's favorite fast food restaurant."
Sadly for Anna, this gambit was no more successful than the finger scam itself--she got nine years, and that's a long time.
